As mentioned before I have been grateful to receive the help from Sam Codd who is creating the sound for my animation. I gave him a brief description of what I wanted the title sequence to sound like and gave him similar examples as I did with Rosy, and because I had no footage to show him he did a very good job in replicating what I wanted for the title sequence. I learnt that regular communication from both parties is crucial to the development of the animation and was lucky enough to receive such great work.
The next task was to finish the storyboards as quickly as possible to allow him time to work on the track whilst I do more pre-production work. this is all down to the planning and scheduling I did for the project, I knew I wanted all the sound done before animating so it would allow me to pour my heart into the performance!
Here are the clips he sent me.
I was over the moon with the work he has produced. But there were still much to discuss as the project develops, like the emotions that I need supported by the music in certain places, certain volume drops and the final track wasn't really what I was looking for as it sounded very Americanized and kind of retracts from the darker previously watched film. But this just goes back to the careful planning of the module, there is enough time to have a good back and forward to get the result that is needed!
