With the release of The Division coming soon, Ubisoft has released a wonderful time lapse of events following on from the original virus that caused the pandemic that the game is based around. Here is that video:

Unfortunately due to the built in Blogger YouTube video uploader being completely incapable of searching for the correct results I can only add a link.
But it was beautifully done with amazing lighting and subtle sounds that got the imagination to do most of the storytelling.
This got me thinking ... I would love to do a similar thing with my animation. After the bombs drop it would be great to do a short time lapse of how it effected the apartment such as stacking of objects and fixing of damaged architecture to sustain the conditions inside. I will have to do a very short test on this but think it wouldn't take too much time as I love to pose characters and environments to keep the viewer intrigued as to how and why something is there ... or not there.
